William Tyler is currently a game design student at George Mason University with a focus in the areas of art, animation, and design. Within GMU’s computer game design program, William creates art and animations for small game projects, including 2D and 3D animations, modeling original props and enemies, and creating characters and background art for video games.
William has worked with small teams ranging from 3 to 32 game designers to develop and publish small computer games including N.O.V.A Escape, Eden, and is currently working on a GMU themed balloon game. William helps game developers and producers to create various props, characters, hazards, and other visual components of a video game that captures their expectations and vision of the project and/or product. Whether taking up a role as an artist or animator, or whether working in 2D or 3D, you can expect William to do his part on any game project and that he contributes in any way he possibly can.
William is a gamer and artist, and has been creating original characters and worlds ever since he was child, and in high school he began to develop Dragon’s Blood, his ongoing original project and a key factor in his decision to enter the world of game design. Through his experience in GMU’s game design program, William has worked in small teams to develop small game projects that helped him develop his skills as an artist and animator for games. William strives to continue developing his current skills as a game designer through the games he helps develop, as well as develop new skills and abilities, so that one day he can have the opportunity to make Dragon’s Blood a reality.
